About Izzy
I am a two time Emmy nominated and Public Media Award-winning filmmaker and editor based in Sonoma County, California, with over a decade of experience in television and video production.
From 2016–2023, I was a television producer at Northern California Public Media, where I produced long and short form video content for PBS broadcast television. I directed numerous live television programs and edited a wide variety of documentary shorts, promotional and educational videos, live music performances, and content for social media.
From 2023–present, I was editor on feature documentary A Better Way, directed by Andrew Hongo, and assistant editor on feature documentaries Fools’ Paradise (lost?) and This Bright Light, directed by Alexandra Lexton.
I believe that in order to create a more beautiful, just, and connected world, we must imagine it first. Cinema, storytelling, and art have always been avenues where imagination can be brought to life, and are essential to envisioning the world we want to live in. I hope that through my work, I can be one small part of building a more loving world for us all.
